Functional Nutrition & Health Coaching

A functional nutrition health coach is a wellness professional who helps individuals improve their health by addressing the root causes of their health challenges through personalized nutrition and lifestyle changes. Using the principles of functional medicine, they focus on how food, nutrients, and lifestyle factors (like sleep, stress management, and exercise) affect the body’s systems and overall well-being. Rather than just addressing symptoms, a functional nutrition coach works to identify and correct imbalances in the body by creating individualized plans that support healing, energy, and long-term health.

The coach empowers clients to make sustainable choices, guiding them in areas such as diet optimization, gut health, detoxification, and managing chronic conditions. They work closely with clients to track progress, provide support, and adjust the plan as needed to meet specific health goals.

In my role as your coach, I will:

  • Evaluate your lifestyle, including relationships, stress levels, and sleep patterns.
  • Examine your diet to understand its impact on your health.
  • Review your medical history to grasp your unique biochemistry.
  • Educate you on vital bodily functions such as digestion, circulation, metabolism, detoxification, and immunity, and how lifestyle and dietary choices influence these processes.
  • Offer suggestions which may involve dietary adjustments, movement, mindfulness practices, or other interventions.
  • Provide resources and accountability to support you in making successful lifestyle changes.
  • Deliver ongoing support through biweekly coaching sessions and continuous text and email communication to guide you every step of the way.
